Seriously? Its a law to have hot food? They should be happy to be getting food. When are we going to start making prison a place people HATE being in versus one that is so accommodating and cozy? Workout rooms, libraries, exercise yards, etc. I realize that you have to be humane and I agree that three squares and fluids is required, but these are CRIMINALS folks. They are eating better than some people who work for a living! As long as they have food and fluids and a place to rest their heads at night I would say that their basic needs have been met. Maybe I’m too insensitive but when prison becomes a comfortable way of life rather than a punishment, well, maybe we should rethink our penal system.
