And these people are supposed to represent "the common man?" When are we going to stand up and demand true representation? Why don't we go back to having our State legislatures appoint our Senators again. After all, the true power of the people lies within their elected State officials and our 10th Amendment rights. Not familiar with those concepts, look them up and educate yourself. Remember, collectively the states gave birth to the federal government, not the other way around.
