These people just do not get it. We CANNOT spend our way out of this without a high probability of hyper-inflation and a collapse of the value of the dollar. This loon seems to think the US “can afford to pay for a second package, even as the fiscal deficit soars and the budget shortfall is likely to be worse than the equivalent of 12 percent of gross domestic product that the administration forecast for 2009 and the 8 percent to 9 percent it projected for next year.” Yeah, we can afford this like we need a hole in the head.
