A construction worker dangled from a chain to rescue a woman from the swirling waters at a downtown Des Moines River dam. Video: Watch the dramatic rescue.

This man is truly a hero. He did what several teams of specialized police couldn’t do with all their training. I hope he gets recognized for what he did!
