COLUMBIA, S.C. — After going AWOL for seven days, Gov. Mark Sanford admitted Wednesday that he’d secretly flown to Argentina to visit a woman with whom he’d been having an affair. He apologized to his wife and four sons and said he will resign as head of the Republican Governors Association. /

Sorry, as much as I like the man for his beliefs, you lied, you go. If we are going to give the Democrats hell for lying and misdirection (a la Nancy Pelosi and the CIA) and ask for her resignation then he needs to be held to the same standards we are wanting to see the Democrats held to, end of story.
